Daniel R. Boisvert

I am Permanent Lecturer in Philosophy at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  My Areas of Specialization are ethics and philosophy of language, especially their intersections, and I also enjoy teaching logic, philosophy of mind, and the history of 20th Century philosophy.  I am a Co-founding Editor and Contributor to PEA Soup, a blog dedicated to discussion of philosophy, ethics, and academia.  Prior to arriving in Charlotte, I served as  Assistant Professor of Philosophy at California State University  Bakersfield (2003-2007) and earned my PhD from the University of Florida (2003).
